    KG coatings Gun Kote

OK, who has used this stuff? http://www.kgcoatings.com/protective...ries-gun-kote/

Any comments on its quality and durability?

    Thanks
1978 Gs1085 compliments of Popy Yosh, Bandit 1200 wheels and front end, VM33 Smoothbores, Yosh exhaust, braced frame, ported polished head
1983 Gs1100ESD, rebuild finished! Body paintwork happening winter 2017:D

I would rather trust my bike to a technician that reads the service manual than some backyardigan that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix things.

Yes, I've used it. Details in my KZ750 thread. No long term experience regarding durability.

So you found the satin to be more glossy by the looks of things. I didn't dull down after baking?

OP, can you get Gun Kote shipped to you in Canada? Many of those two part coatings are deemed dangerous goods and shipping is either very expensive or simply not available for small quantities. I can suggest Arma-Coat as an alternative and it is OK to ship in Canada from the Canadian dealer.

This is one of 2 Canadian distributers http://www.vintagekawasaki.com/webshop/

They ship via Canpar and have most products in stock. They are also a Sudco dealer. We exchanged emails, seems like a pretty good guy.

My mistake on the two part thing. Since OP looks to be able to get GK with no problems then he is good to go.
