1978 GS 1000 Gsxr build
My 1170 is still a wreck so we picked this bike up. 78 1000. Gsxr 1100 forks and wheels, aluminum swinger. Kind of a rat for now....
Factory tank is being evapo-rusted. Honda doesn't look that bad.

Wheels will be powder coated black eventually.

Yes but you'll need to make up new motor plates. Do some searching there is info on here. You'll also likely have a problem with Carb/petcock interference but with the Honda tank... who knows?!1980 GS1000G - Sold

After digging through several pages it looks like it bolts in minus the bottom mounts. I'll have to pull my 16v and see how bad the damage is first...
