    While I can't comment on those brake pad because there's no Mfg name listed, I will leave you with this thread to read >>> http://thegsresources.com/_forum/sho...934#post710934

    ***edit*** and this thread >>> http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...238#post498238 I forgot about those emgo's I still have!

    I've got pyramid brake pads on the front of the '80 in combination with ferodo rears which I haven't tried yet. I've got EBC's on the front of the '82 with Pyramid rears. Vesrah fronts waiting for the '78 and who knows what I use for rears. I know it will be whatever I can find cheap. I've got a bit of mix and matched MFG's brake pads and I don't have a problem doing it.

    I can tell you this... I can fairly easily lock up the brakes on either end of the '82 so I know the brakes have more gripping power than the tires do. I suspect those will be no different.

    if you don't like those pads they're cheap enough to use until you find something better.

    let the flaming begin...

        Hi,

        Expensive? I suppose it's relative.

        I recently realized I needed a set of rear pads. Looking through my spare parts I found 2 extra sets of front pads but no rear pads. I went down to my local bike shop and gladly paid $30 (tax included) for a set of EBC rear brake pads. At least I could ride that weekend.

        For the consumables (oil filters, brake pads, etc.), I usually order ahead from the less expensive online vendors. I guess I should keep better track of my stock.

        Thank you for your indulgence,

        BassCliff
