    Help with parts

I'm looking to replace the equalizing tubing and fittings for my front suspension on my 80 gs850. Where might I find these parts/kit? I think my main problem is I'm not sure what they are called.

Not sure that was standard equipment, as I don't have it on my bike.

We did have an aftermarket version on my son's 650, though.

A 1980 GS850G did not have equalizer tubes on the front suspension.

If you change to upgraded springs in your forks, you will not need air pressure in the forks any more.

As mentioned, there was no equalizer tube on the 850G. I only remember seeing it on the 1000S.

Do your fork caps look something like this?

they are the same type as the picture you show. I've had no luck on my own finding a vendor for the parts on line. looks kind of like compression fittings.. any help in locating new fittings and such is appreciated.

Any quality NAPA Auto Parts Store should be able to hook you up with the fittings, ferrels, T-fitting, shrader valve and plastic air line to make it work.
Keep the air pressure between 5-11 pounds.
