A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Got back last night from 3700kms ride for the week. Impromptu ride at the last minute.
Yesterday did 960kms then caught the 8pm ferry home. Long day.

You have no idea how jealous I am of you for that.
My Dad quit riding before I started, and my son never had any interest.
I know I am lucky for sure. My son's want for riding has gone through phases for sure....I got him a CFR70 when he was about 10 and we would put the dirt bikes in the truck on the weekends and ride up island....he kinda lost interest....then I got him go-kart and we fixed it up together and went to our local race track...he wasn't really into that...then when he decided to get his motorcycle license at around 18 he started riding my DR650.....then he would ride it to work.
Last year I found him a GS800 that was a great deal at $1000...he rode it to work for a year and sold it for $1800.
Then came the Superduke....lol...next year I want to do a multi day trip with him. :)

Well he does sort of listen to me...lol...we ride with Sena communicators....I try not to be the dad telling him what to do constantly....yesterday he was doing a couple of annoying bursts of throttle up to beside me in out lane....I resisted telling him to "back off"....lol...I've told him before...being his birthday I thought I would lay off....
🙂
He's a pretty good rider...we rode in the dirt too when he was younger. He wears all the gear (armour under the hoodie)...good protective pants and a good helmet. His bike is pretty powerful with 177hp....when he first got it he left the bike in "rain mode" while getting used to it. My son doesn't drink are use any drugs....I trust him and he does respect my experience.
🙂
