All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.
A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.
A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
You gave away your biggest advantage, being quicker off the line.
Now you have to listen to his BS forever.
Rollin ain't racin'!
You know why he did it? So he wouldn't spin in 1st!
So he basically removed "Your" only advantage to the race.
Challenge him from a dig next time, he'll struggle to hook, you'll already be gone, he won't catch up, end of story!
(those cars Main enemy his Hooking, unless he's running drag radials he cannot launch with that engine's full potential.)
If the CBR races him it will not be car lenghts, it will be BUS lengths. and MANY
95 Camaro Z28?
I have this car...that's an LT1
They are definitely a 13 second car from the factory, assuming he Hooks good.
Off the top of my head 11.10 @116 mph. 4v & bigger,no substitute for cu
A 13 second LT1...Not likely, unless you are one that runs a 13.99 and calls is a 13 second car. That 95 LT1 Camaro (stock) would need to be set perfectly to even break into 13's. I had a 96 Corvette, LT1 and my best run was only like 13.4's And it had the performance rear end ratio option, that what 3:42's rather then the stock 2:73's or what ever they were running, its been a while. But even most stock LT1 Vettes were high 13 to low 14 second cars. At least at my altitude.
On another note, a 2000 WS6 with 6-speed and LS1 will only run 13:30's and if you ever rode one on the street it will damn near spank any stock car it would come across. I could beat LT1 Camaros and Birds driving and shifting with one hand while holding a blizzard from DQ
DISCLAIMER: Don't do 135 on the street!! It's super-uber-mega-ultra-illegal-to-the-enth-power and under no circumstances am I advising it!!!

Don't feel to bad, back in '76 I bought my mom's 69' Z28 Camaro from her. I had it for about 4-5 months , of coarse I was to young to have a license [I was 14 at the time], and I decided to sell it so I could by a lawn tractor and start a lawn mowing business, which I did do pretty good at , but the car was and still is worth way more thanthe buisness. I sold the car with 70K on it for $400. dollars. talk about living and learningYa know I just watched Mecums auction this weekend, and all of the top ten cars in the long list earlier in this thread were there. L88 vettes (two of em, including a "1 of 2" red on red which still had not hit reserve at half a million dollars) ZL1 camaros, Hemi Cudas and Chargers etc etc. almost every Vette sold for at least 100 grand or more.
I never should have sold that 78 T/AThat car was a paint job and some interior work away from being a $50,000 car in today's market apparently....
Live and learn.
