A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
That's understandable, I guess. Wondering if there are any Aftermarket parts fpr Tesla's yet? seems it would be a pretty small mkt. for them. Now need to google why EV's seem to be in more crashes.
A fair assessment, but then, gasoline refueling isn't a home thing either (for 99.99% of people, anyway.)
What I can't foresee is a time when an electric motorcycle would be anything other than an appliance. A large part of the fun of a bike is the clutch and shifting, the sound, reving out the engine. Electric vehicles can be amazingly fast, but it's NOT the same experience.
But we're old newer generations like my son don't have that attachment. I was never drawn to the noise of bikes I prefer quiet.
My kid drives a Tesla...and an MT07. Between the two, the MT holds his passion. He says the Tesla, which is fast as hell, is just a commuter vehicle. The MT is FUN! He's big into shifting, and the feel of the engine.
...a claimed 1000km-621mile range. That should silence critics in regards to ev range, I personally don't know of any ICEs that can match that.
"claimed" is the ideal driving conditions this is typical of ICEs claims as well. My pickup has never met it's claimed range, doesn't come close to 15mpg hwy.First of all, "claimed" is rarely real. And second, it doesn't matter how long the range is if, when you get there, you have trouble finding a charging station.

A lot of people agree with you. E-bikes here are beginning to take the roll the mopeds and small displacement motorcycles have long occupied in other countries, particularly in Asia. Phenomenal growth vs motorcycle sales relatively flat.Back from a tour of SE Asia I come returned with a altered viewpoint on many things in life. 1-why are we riding giant road bikes in urban areas, small displacement or ev bikes are all we really need for our daily commute, quick and agile.

At least when a moped or small displacement motorbike comes from behind you on the sidewalk you hear it and might have time to jump out the way.

Thought it was cute how the security guards were holding hands to keep the trash cans from getting too close to the “motorcycles”. WTF
