A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

NIIIICE Greg, NIIIIICE, looking good, I like it, I like it a lot...... :dancing::dancing:

Local place was double what Rennsport will do then for Eric.My post was not very clear.Yes GK I did send to there.they have double banjos to,about $7 IIRC.I'm getting a new double incuded in that price.

OK. It sounded like they cost less than Rennsport.
I was going to ask for a link. ;)
I'll stick to Rennsport then.
They had no problem making one line longer at no extra charge or any time delay either.

Eric

Wish I could show pics of the new SS lines installed but as I went to fill then the calipers started dripping fluid.Off they came and once the pistons where blown out it seems I busted the new seals:mad:New one will be on the way soon from Boulevard.Ashely's back Tuesday so it will be a bit till I can get this done but I can tell you the lines look great.

are the seals the same as on the 750, I have one brand new one, and all the old ones, of which are in good condition

New seals will be on the way soon with new headlight hardware coming to from Boulevard.

Greg, would you mind slowing down a bit, you're making me feel like the old poke I am. ;)

YOU?! Sheesh. I've had mine for going on three years. Still, the body work and tank interior needs finished. So close, but yet so far away.:-s

Keep going Greg! Looking great!

I thought things where slow.Just no motivation to do stuff here + there's been a bunch of stuff going on here. Some good, some just knocking the stuffing out of me http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/showthread.php?t=193852 .I'm really missing her.Got to get this done to because I'm looking at this http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/Yamaha-FJ600_16886427 for the coming winter's project.

I had the same thing happen to me four years ago. I came home one day to find the best dog I ever had, lying dead on the living room floor. Four weeks later I found another golden puppy listed for sale in the local paper. Brought Him home one week later and has been the biggest pain that I have ever had in my life to raise.

He's now lying on my feet and adores me...

Your turn will come again one day, I guarantee it. Good things happen to those that are.

We got the kitten the next day and she is a great cat to.Was just a bit to soon I think but she is worth the problems. So much has happened so fast I'm taking a couple of needed mental health days.

Finally after a month of other things to do I got some Skunk time in today.

New head light hardware was not much $$ and saved me cobbling something up.

What is the story on the new looking brake lines?
Why are they so short? Just using some parts that you had around to test it?

Eric

Should have give the rear another inch or gone with 15 degree fittings:oFronts just need better routing an some brackets.

I don't have any pictures that I took specifically of brake lines but, perhaps these will help with the front. '79 and '78 1000E's...

And the rear, is supposed to run down along the swing arm like this '78...
