I just got back from the hospitol, and my GS is a bit messed up. Me, I have some scrapes, and a dislocated shoulder and seperated tendon/clavacle issue. But, the bikes Messed up
.
The short story, going around a 'roundabout' at like 10mph(maybe) and there was a pot-hole and then I was on the ground. The bike (80 gs1100et) hit the curb with the front wheel while flat and twisted the front fork. I was able to ride it home. The front wheel didnt wobble at all, but the handle bars are aiming about 45 degrees the wrong way. Is there some amount of play in the fork connectors at the tree that loosening them it could straighten out?
I will try to get some pics posted of the carnage tomorrow....
As Dr Smith would say,,, "Oh the Pain...."
