For the powder coat experts - spent many hours blasting, sanding and prepping my tank and had it costed flat matte black. Got it home, had some surface rust inside from the phosphorous (?) adhesion promoter that the coater used. I filled it with apple cider vinegar for several days and wasn't overly concerned about spills as I was under the impression that it was fairly impervious.
Well it's not, small droplets remain and then I spilled gas on it when I filled it up after draining the vinegar (which worked great on the rust) and changed it to a slightly glossier around the neck.
What can I use to clean it without damaging it further:
Should I spill has on th whole thing to make the surface even if it can't be cleaned? Simple green didn't work :jaded: :sorrow:
