A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Seriously...how can one blow an engine in 12K miles ? ? ?

Probably never changed the oil or put any oil in it, no maintenance of any kind and spent 12K miles standing it on the rear wheel. LOL

Mine blew up at 600 miles. Was still on break in. If I remember correctly 5 or 6000 rpm. Was driving along at about 50 mph in the rain. The next thing I know, there's a bunch of smoke and the bike started to decelerate. When I pulled over, there was a piston and rod hanging outside the block. Had a Hell of a time getting Suzuki to come through on the warranty. They were convinced I had it on the track ! They did eventually come through.

At 600 miles, I assume you bought it new. That sounds like a freak of nature incident. I have put about 55k on my B12 and it runs like it did when new. Hmmm, 6k rpm would be 120+ mph on the old girl.

Sorry, I didn't mean that I was at those revs. I just hadn't exceeded them as part of the break in period. Yes it may have been a freak. I mentioned the incident to an old timer at another shop recently. He told me that there were rumors of the owner of the shop I purchased the bike from, removing engines, running a race at the track, and then putting them back in new bikes. I don't know if it's true or not. However it might explain a comment made by Greg, when he did my carbs. He said they had been rejetted. I said that was impossible, as I was the original owner, and other than when the new engine was installed, the carbs had never been off the bike. Food for thought.

Insane Rocker C... little motor work done... screaming eagle chip. Custom paint, and cromed to Max. Loudest bike you will hear and very snappy. Need to sell. Will not take a penny less then $14250 so don't ask. They don't make Rocker any more. Have original parts with it.

A:

The best I could find is that the pillion seat fold and is stowed under the solo seat.

DP

That looks just as (un)comfy as the balcony seating on a crotch rocket, but she's dressed properly for that role....shorts and sandals
