All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Yes, I'm saying democracy is better than socialism; you know: less gov't is better than more we control our lives, not the king...oops, I mean the gov't :)
...nice pics, by the way.

I'll be taking my own advice and only posting with pics from here on out; and sieze this opportunity to appologize to ANYONE that I may have offended (it's the retired US Army officer in me). Feel free to PM, however. And for the record, I don't mind at all that my dad fought to save all of europe from a mad socialist dictator and here is why: because ALL PEOPLE COUNT.

My father and my grandfather served in two seperate wars.

Ohh, a pic.. Of me on my "custom" CR doing a "custom" double.
Kidding, the CR is all stock.

I am allergic to "air" so we'll have no MX postings of me on here! ;) Shall we say that my last experience culminated in 11 days in the hospital.

Hey, you're not fat...OH, that was the Harley! Heh, my bad. And haven't they made enough Harleys, yet???

Current condition of my 1150ES...many plans...little time...less money :(

PFFT!!
Asking if there is enough harleys... Might as well as if they've made enough bikes all together.
One of my harley owner friends asked me why I bought a Zuke and asked if I was gonna sell the Harley.
I said cause I wanted to and hell no!

Your ES looks good BTW..

Ha-haaaa! Well said!

Thanks on my GS. I have some plans; inverted TL suspension and wheels, then paint. There's a bit of a 'story' on it, but this isn't the place for it. Right now I need to get the rear wheel sorted, gixxer unit using a captive brake-stay in the rear brake caliper...almost done, but still need a bit ^o of cash and a bit more time.:( We'll see...
Here it is with another piece of *poo* that occupys space in my garage. :(

Those are old pictures I posted to show my progress . When it is finished it wont even look like it does now.

I would like to see the finished product. I assumed it was done but I did not read the original post only reacted to the picture.

Looks like I sparked some debate that belongs in the off topic area.

Sorry

mine: 1982 GS1000E

i've owned this bike for more than 20 years, did the upgrades you see here back in '94/'95 before all these forums and parts availability...
the bike was cover photo of the month back in march 2003 so you ''old members'' will have seen it before! ;)

Beautiful, Solo.......that 1100E remains one of my fav bikes on the site. How about a pic of the other side?:)

Tony.

Chris-Harris, Its a Harley Sportster tank. It needs fab work to bolt up. I got a flat bottom put on it and got the petcock moved to the back of the tank and still need to adjust the mounts in front.

.........and drop it down about 6" so it actually looks like it matches the bike (IMHO). :D

That's real nice. Very pleasing to the eyes. Do you have a thread buried here on it? or just the bike of the month stats? That wind screen is excellent.
