DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Coming home yesterday noticed in the paint on the minivan in front of me the headlight was not on.Great, fuse blown?Get home check the fuse,it's fine.OK strip the fairing off and get the bulb out, looks good.Well take the tank off then. Finally find the male end of the "spare" connector under there.Plug it in and I have headlights again:clap:

Gee does it help if you put things in the right order.Have not been running air in the fork because of a cut line between the legs.Decided to get one of the other air fittings I have and get air in.Took the legs down and put the fitting on then the rubber spacer ans the "washer".Tried airing it up and got a hissss.Go WTH and leave it for a while. It dawned on me in a bit that the washer and rubber spacer had to be under the fittings.Did that and when I put mt small bicycle pump to it nothing to be heard:clap:

Went to do some shopping and dinner with my wife after work today. My bike was left at work.Go back to get it then went a back way to Sooke Rd.Coming out waiting for an opening it traffic I notice a bike at the end of the line of cadges.A yellow Tea Kettle Kat,the rider was in a yellow with black and white set of full leathers.Long braid and body type said woman:cool:.We rode along both 4>1's singing. It was so cool.

My wife's stay at the hospital was longer that it should have been.but that is another story.Saturday morning dawned gray any cloudy, around 7 am it started to rain, hard. My mother in law was coming to take Kelly up and to support me as well.Phoned to see if we where still going(to this http://www.vibikers.com/forum/index.php?topic=5102.0 ).I hate riding in the rain but nothing was going to keep me away!It was a miserable ride up but we got there. So here are some pics I took there:

That black and red Yamaha is nice. I would choose different colors though.... Old bikes with modern wheels and suspension just looks so well together!

The Z1 is VERY nice! And how about that GS750EF? ;)

Looks like a lot great builds there. Especially that diesel motor and the caddy engine...

Hey! Thanks for the cool pics, etc.

Do you, by any chance, know what kind of windscreen this is? It looks like one from a Katana ... but I'm not sure. I ask because I'd like to do something similar on my 1980 GS1100ET.

Been a while, just racking up the KM's and enjoying the fruits of my labours.:D

wow the black and burnt orange kawasaki paint/lacquer job is slick!

btw, those red lines on Old Yeller really bring something!

Riding to work yesterday and a guy in a pickup opened his window to tell me the taillight wasn't working. It wasn't.Checked the fuses, the connections.Everything I could check on lunch seemed OK.Got home and started working on it.Was really weird, light worked when just pushed in but not when it was turned.Very strange:confused:Still have another one so I changed the unit out.Took the one in the bike apart and the ground wire was broken off:rolleyes:

I joined a new forum http://www.bcclassicmotorcycleclub.com/index.php?option=com_banners&task=click&bid=12 .They asked me for a picture of Old Yeller for they're 2012 calendar:eek:.From junkyard dog to calender girl.Been quite the ride:dancing:Insurance expired and she is in the shed for the winter.Have to repaint the header as a few wet weather rides have ravaged it.A mostly good summer riding but the weather here is such that if it's nice it's to cold and if it's warm it's raining.:(
