A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Duke,

Your GS looks HOT!

The only thing missing is the "Suzkuki" logo on the tank, white one should complete the package. <grin>

smokedog next im diggin into the motor for some performance mods, dyna s ignition, coils, jets and pods. possibly some flatside carbs if i can find some cheap. i will also get the gsxr fender painted red. then some silver tribal decals. and on and on and on.
Leave the fender color as it is, it breaks up all the red nicely

hey finally figured out how to do pics, much eaiser way with the new forum. i like it !!!!

Duke, your bike is lookin' so tough!!!

Have you been out riding at all? How does it ride? What did you do to cure your chain clearance issue?

You know, the worst part about the position you are in with your bike is that you are nearly done. Workin' out all the "challenges" is a big part of the fun. I'm so looking forward to the day the Mighty Buffalo is done so that I can ride it, but it will be the worst day too.
So,.... What are you going to do next?

Lookin' good man, lookin' good!

orgi i had the bike out but i had the handlebars mounted with hose clamps and duct tape (yes im a redneck). it handle very well surprisingly however i didnt really want to get it up to speed. the guy who is fabbing my handlebar risers had a tree fall on the shop in some high winds so they will hopefully be done next week. i bought pods and jets today. i have dyna coils and wires and am going to order dyna s ignition soon. i will definately let you know how it does when i get the risers on !!!! mean while i have plenty to do on my other winter project !!!!! here it is !!!!!

original plans were to run a tach only. now im thinkin more about a small tach, speed and gas gauge cluster. i like the gsxr 600 ones. the inverted forks have an electronic speedo and the gs has a mechanical tach. ill have to look for a way to convert the tach over to electronic ??????

how ya like the exhaust mounting system. it works great !!!! easy removal and it is SOLID !!!!sfter the pods go on the battery has to go up and out of sight. ugliest part of the gs is seeing the battery imo. there will be a space there where you can see through. i also need to do outofcontrols rear brake mod but ill be using a different master cyclinder.
