All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Have you seen the seat Corbin offers for 83 GS1100 e. Looks sharp! The solo seat would add to the street cred! Check their website.

Personaly, I feel that Duke's bike oozes street "cred"......

It looks as though you have been riding a bit.... I've been waiting on a full feature story of how it performs.......8-[

Orgi the bike handles beautifully !!!! the lower center of gravity and the pirellis is what i would have to say makes alot of difference. also the race tec springs in the inverted forks cant be hurting either. if you get a chance to get some race off tires go for it !!! the will alst abot 3 to 4 thousand miles and they are well worth the money. i got mine for 120 dollars for both MOUNTED. they will even bite on a wet road or a road with gravel they are amazing !!! an R6 and an R1 came up behind me at a light the other day i smoked them out of the hole real bad !!! the bike will now keep up with or out run the newer bikes and it will corner with them too!!! the 600 crotch rockets dont stand a chance !!! it is 100 percent quicker when it comes to the steering and i tend to over steer in the corners but that will come the more i get used to the bike. the braking is 100 percent better too. i would compare it to dragging my feet with the old setup. the bike will stop on a dime. i believe newer model master cyclinders would be even better. i could go on and on. here is one of the action pics you asked for !!!

:D Very funny!:D

It sounds like all your modifications have worked out well!

So, now that we have followed along for the build, seen an action shot, and heard a performance review, how about letting me ride it?!:D

Your evaluation is inspiring. I cannot wait to get the Mighty Buffalo ridable.

Orgi you would be more than welcome to take her for a spin !!!! but there is still more work to be done once everything is complete (never) ill meet ya half way!!! got the spare clutch cover polished up she looks real nice. ill wait until the heavy duty clutch goes in to change it though.
