Okay so I recently had my stator go bad and I bought a used one on ebay for a good deal. I hooked it all back up and ran the test in the stator papers where you test AC voltage between each lead coming from the stator at 5k rpm. However, when I checked it at 5k rpm it was giving me closer to 80+ volts rather than 60+ volts. The only reason I'm concerned is because while the diameter of the used stator matches the old one off the bike, it was slightly wider than the old one. I don't think this should matter but if it does I would love to know. For now I have not hooked it up to the R/R so I don't do any damage to the rest of the system if something IS wrong. Thanks in advance!
