I'd get some new turn signals. Those don't really go with the bike IMO. Even if they were the same style with just shorter stalks like someone else suggested.

Ideas
OK, rake the frame in order to get the bike somewhat level again, and keep a reasonable amount of suspension travel up front. Aren't turn signals kind of out of place on a bobber? Old school bobbers were so stripped down, they didn't look like they had everything needed to run. You could also go with mini-gauges to get rid of the factory pod. Koso and Drag Specialties have several options. The 2240:1 should read right off of your cable. You could cut the aircraft cap out of a sportbike tank, and weld into your tank if you wanted a racing flare.

"plus.....besides ZOOK, he has been here LONGER and has WAY more posts than ANY of you responding to this....I think he's been around long enough to be respected! "
B.F.D.-since when does the amount of POSTS correlate with having a more respectable opinion than anyone else? You'll get as much respect as you give others. I'm not trying to start a war, but constructive criticism has always prevailed Colorado.
He wasn't talking TO the guy, asking for OPINIONS; he was talking ABOUT it, in a poor attitude. That's why we felt he was being unjustly critical. This forum is unique as there are very cool, positive people here for the most part. Let's keep it that way.

I like the fact that there aren't any OCC wannabee's here on the site. The bike looks unique and good.

I do like the look for sure.........I'm thinking I would definately go with a cat's eye ring for the headlight and some spiked grips or bar ends

I'm all for people making a bike their own. It's kind of what biking has always been about. I may not like what every individual does but it's their bike and I don't have to ride it. That said, I think what you've done looks pretty good. Details can always be worked out as time and cash allows.

usually if i dont like it, ill either keep quiet or offer constructive criticism. i would like to say i havent jabbed a person based on what they are doing/have done, but i cant say i havent done it, too.

and for what its worth, search here for a guy named kenny p.
i found him over at Jockey Journal (before they kicked us japs out) and found him here afterwards.
man he has sick style with his GS bobber, it might give you an idea or two.

your pics actually make the bike look longer than it really is. Are you thinking about painting it differently or keeping it the way it is?
