gs 850gt seat hinge

Hi, Could somebody tell me where does the hinge with the stop fit, does it bolt on the front or rear position on the seat base ? Thanks.

without a picture we cant tell. look on a parts fiche and compare your hinge to the one on the fiche. that will show you where it goes.

Thanks guys, my genuine suzuki parts book does not show the hinges at all. It seems right to be on the rear position so thats its new home.
