    I assured him the other day that Marc was a stand up guy. I forwarded him your PM Marc and also called and left a message. He said it was only 6 degrees the other day, but he will be really happy to have the boots and carbs that are right for his bike..cant believe the radiator hose and worm clamp arrangements!! And ALL the , what looked like Kawasaki or early Honda intake manifolds, were egg shaped and very out of round.

    I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

      Just wanted to say I got the carbs from Chuck and they look great. Much easier for a novice like me to diagnose and fix problems with factory carbs. Transaction went smoothly.

          Did you ever figure out if your bike had been bored out? Mine I believe has the Wiseco 844 kit, bores the stock 750 jugs to the maximum bore size/minimum wall thickness, same size as the stock GS850 jugs. If it is more than 844cc's, you'd have to either have the cylinders resleeved (boring the block to fit larger sleeves may give telltale signs of where the steel/cast iron sleeves are bored in and through the aluminum block, therefor the iron/steel is visible in the recesses between cooling fins in the thinner spots), or else the lower left front of the cylinder block would have 843cm3 cast into the flat pad on it, and the 850 cylinders would then be bored out further.
          I will be boring mine out to 920cc's/72mm bore at some point next year, as I have some old stock MTC big bore pistons and a GS850 cylinder block. 1000 cc's would require GS1100 2-valve pistons (GS1100G? Did they make 2v 1100's? and are they the same piston height?), but the piston pins are 2mm larger diameter than the GS750/850 pins, and boring out the 750 rods to fit larger pins is uncharted territory. The 1000/1100 rods I'm not sure would work on the 750 crank.
