Woowhooo 2 of the 3 stators all checked out good ! Measuring a-b , b-c, c-a while keeping revs at 4000 rpm my numbers were all 64 volts ac on one stator and 66 volts on the 2 nd stator ... both had zero resistance .... so looks like I have a spare stator

If they look the same, then the one that tested a little higher.
Either one would probably do OK. You really wont know for sure until the system is under load.http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg

Did the test twice and my numbers were differant each time ..
Just went to basement and got my new multimeter , did the test twice again and these numbers were consistent close both tests , give or take a volt or 2 ..Last edited by Guest; 06-01-2014, 08:12 PM.

Do the Revised Phase A tests at 5000 RPM.
What are the voltage drops?
BTW the second measurement does not make any sense. Is your headlamp on?Last edited by posplayr; 06-01-2014, 08:11 PM.
