Congratulations on the job. One more piece of advice if I could...don't give out the work number to anyone who doesn't need to contact you in case of emergency and that includes your girlfriend. It will be the fastest way to upset people.

Gotcha! Speaking of the GF, haven't seen her ever since I couldn't get the bike to start. And it was all because I was out of gas. Whatever.

I should have the correct right hand control on my way soon thanks to sschering. My brand new helmet should be here tomorrow according to FedEx's ETA. My chain guard should be here this Friday thanks to JimmyD. And I got horns on the way from Baatfam.

Exciting stuff! Seriously... Nearly a COMPLETE bike.

AWESOME! Thanks for reading my thread. I would like to see another 1100E getting some attention.

                  Thanks!

My new helmet got here today.

                  Icon Alliance SS Battlecry.

It has gigantic vent holes on the back.

Definitely need a reflective visor. Not a fan of clear visors....

                  Sidi Vertebra boots.

I need an armored jacket! Not sure if my 1970's leather jacket will hold up or not...

                    Loudest. Helmet. Ever.

That was my first lid, it SCREAMS at 60+. Ear plugs/headphones are a must.

                      Dammit.

But this helmet is basically brand new and was cheap so I jumped on it. Better than wearing my crash damaged KBC VR-2 though.

Shoei RF-1100 best thing I ever put on my head.
Somethings just are not good and cheap.

Same with my buddie's five something hundred dollar Arai. Couldn't believe my head could be so comfortable in a helmet.

The Shoei looks nice! I'll try one on whenever I go to a dealer.

Now... How loud are these engines supposed to be? There is a lot of valve noise. My camera can't capture the sound of it though. I just rechecked the valves and they are all within spec.

Just got a nice set of horns today. Thanks Baatfam!

Does anyone know what size bolts I'll need for them?
