Probably the best fun I ever had with my clothes on (I did the chair back in the 80s in a Triumph Wasp outfit).

Looking back though, I think I was mad!

Good luck for 2015 Kyler and keep us informed about how you do (vids are nice.....).

Wasp, eh? I ran Pike's Peak on a Wasp/XS650 and have a Wasp/CR500 in the garage.

Ray - if you want a ride in the chair, I can hook you up! lots of sidecar racing going on out your way. And yup, we Yanks call them monkeys. On the other side of the pond that is considered a derogatory term

Looking forward to hearing how you like riding the chair with some real torque to use. Hope the season goes well for you.

We've just recovered from the big CAMS 3 day meeting at timaru where the North Island Classic and post classic Sidecars came down. They were giving rides and generally drumming up enthusiasm for the older sidecars. It worked - i know of at least three guys who are fizzing to build outfits. I'm fielding calls from guys "where can i find..." It'll be interesting to see how long the enthusiasm lasts. LOL.
At the track yesterday to check on the running in of a GSXR1000 I'd built in an LCR. He's off to Wanganui today for the big Boxing day races. The ZX14 in a car was there too and going well thankfully.....NZGP meeting locally first week of January which kicks off the national points series so we're right into our season.

                Have fun.

Ken, are you hoping to get to the 2 Canadian dates?
I have been to Mosport to watch twice out the last four years and it is a grat time.

ZX14! wow. we have the same problem with new racers-no rigs and they aren't skilled enough to build one. Makes it really hard to grow the sport.

as long as the racing budget holds (or I should say the CFO doesn't find out the budget was blown before the season started) and I don't lose my kitchen passes, I'll be there! I hear Mosport is an awesome track. The VRRA has about 4 rigs in my class so that would be icing on the cake.

the racing budget is getting stretched already. I squeezed the GS1100 in where the GS750 used to live. The front and rear motor mounts line up fine but the quick change backbone has to be modified. This motor is taller than the 750. {sigh} I hope my wife never finds out how much I really spend on racing.

It would be nice if the collective GSR community could help "sponsor" your racing endeavors. Wish there was a mechanism for such a thing.

how ironic. We used to open the season with a race at Loudon. This is the first year we aren't racing there.
