A couple of months ago a friend of mine Steve Drane https://cdnbkr.ca/the-motorcycle-grab-bag/steve-drane-called-to-the-hall/
Steve interviewed Wes Cooley and I when he was here...anyway he has quite the collection and has offered to sell me bikes before...early 70s two stoke Suzuki's....but they were never my thing...to young I guess when they came out...anyway it's a bit of an honour just to have Steve say he would like to sell you a bike
I went and looked at the 82 Katana 1100 and found it to be quite tidy and ridden with 50,000kms or 32,000 miles...all original except the Yosh exhaust...he does have one side of the original. Some patina as well....the seat is in fantastic condition...they were know to look pretty ratty quickly.
I told him at the time I would have to pass (do I really need another old bike that always needs something...lol
But it gnawed at me...and today I decided why not...it helped that I reached out to my buddy that owns Iconic Motorcycles in California asking him about saleability....the "1100 is the hot ticket" apperantly.
Anyway here she is...
