Ok, it's a little way in the future, but here we go! (So you people that plan can do your planning thingy.)
The dates are August 20th-23rd in Farmington, Missouri. (and yeah, it's earlier than usual this year.)
We normally sleep at the Baymont Inn & Suites and rooms are normally in the $65 - $85 range per night. I would recommend booking directly through the hotel, as there have been issues getting refunds if you go through a third-party booking agency. The Baymont Inn & Suites phone number is 573-756-8031
Most people arrive on Thursday afternoon or evening and depart on Sunday morning. (Some retired folks have been known to show up on Wednesday!)
As usual, NOTHING is planned! Just show up and ride some of the best roads in the area. (of course, a trip to Hercules BBQ in Piedmont is almost mandatory!)
It will probably be hot!..................... For sure, the roads there will put a smile on your face!
So, there ya have it! Get to planning, requesting, begging, bribing, blackmailing or whatever ya need to do to go ride the Ozarks! You won't regret it!
