if you have the cases split and cleaned, I have been told by KG coatings to help remove all oil from the cases clean them good, then use a acetone/mek to wash the oils off. Then put the cases in the oven for 2 hours around 200 degrees or so. this will help draw more oil out of the cases then wash one more time with acetone.78 GS1000 Yosh replica racer project

Nice smoothbores Bruce! Do you have to run different intake boots or open up the intake ports to accommodate those 33s?

They bolt right on the 1100 and 1150 sixteen valve. These are the carbs they used in the early days for an upgrade to the CVs.1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.
