Got dry socket again Pete, Where there is exposed bone in my mouth from wisdom teeth.

Thanks Flyboy, yeah i couldnt get the 'Suzuki' right on the tank. Already have the front guard painted with the white line, the line is only thin though about 20mm, i'm thinking of making it abit wider.

I've lowered the headlight and the gauges in this one as well as painted the wheels, deleted the mirrors as i want bar end mirrors and i got the right font for SUZUKI. I think this will be the better way to go, that way i dont have the move the battery and play with the jetting in the carbys if i went to pod filters etc, but still get a respectable bike.

Cool, that looks a little "badder" if that's a word...

I like the painted black rims with the polished lip too! Wait, I've seen that somewhere before

Definitely looking better though and it seems to work as whole as well.

Did I mention my pipes are made? Off to the ceramic coater on Friday, so should be back by the end of next week...

Lowered the headlight tonight, all i had to do was turn the headlight brackets upside down and change sides, lowers it a good 4-5 inches all i have to do now is lower the gauges and paint my headlight fairing and see what it looks like on! I'll get pics tomorrow.

Going to have a play with some cheap blinkers that are currenty on the bike, the ones that are on the front of the bike anyway but more about that tomorrow.

I don't want to, but I sorta have to... not practical for me to make two trips unfortunately, just don't have the time normally which is why I was hoping it would've been finished while I was on leave. Oh well, that's how the cookie crumbles I guess... I'll just be all the more excited when it gets back, and hopefully I'll have some assembled carbs and a brake caliper ready to go back on.

If your gauges mount like mine, then they sit on top of the bracket, and it should be a piece of pie to simply bolt them to the bottom of the bracket instead.

Keen to see that headlight fairing painted up too...

yeah it looks like the gauge mounting bolt / pin just pushes out? so i could turn it around.

Mine's just two bolts that thread through with a nut on top... easy as pie to just slip them out, drop the gauges under the bracket, and do 'em up again.

Ok here are some pics, This is where i have moved the headlight and gauge cluster to, which has dropped it about 4-5 inches. You can see how i have to make 2 pretty long spacers to mount the instrument cluster to, Looks like my ignition setup is from something else and been grafted ( although very badly ) onto my bike. I did try just flipping the bracket over that mounts the cluster but they still sat up to high.

Now for the blinkers, These are just some cheap blinkers that were on my bike when i got it. They light up quite well but if your sitting beside me you dont get a clear indication that i am turning, so i've decided to drill about 4 holes into each blinker on the back ridge and then fill the holes with a clear plug of some type. Which should stand out abit more hopefully. I'm going to paint them black too, the chrome looks crap.

How's visibility of the gauges having them that low? Any issues? They look good...

Still got clear Vision of the Gauges, will mount them later this afternoon and put some pics up, i'll try and mount the fairing too to see what it looks like.

Cool, I tried it with mine but the cross brace on the new 'bars seemed to get in the way. Hopefully the fly screen I'm eyeing off will hide the gauges enough that it won't matter...
