A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.
A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
They all look great but that red 1100 is WOW!
Yep, got a 1991 GSX1100G, a 1999 GSF 1200, a 2005 GSF1200, but thinking my 1983 GS1100E is the only one that counts in this conversation.
Due to medical issues, need for garage space, giving away my GS1100ES near Nashville (Spring Hill)… clear title, runs when easily re-assembled, extra parts. New Progressive springs & shocks, new battery, etc. Had previous post to sell, but now free. Last ran in July on a drip, since I was going to make new hoses from Hirsch-treated tank. I have taken the stator cover loose , since my last gasket was misaligned and leaking. Needs paint, is gloss black, but also have some original plastics. Nothing broken, just needs minor reassembly since I can’t work on it anymore. I had a video of it running floating around here somewhere… ask me, and I can send it. Very strong low-miles motor. Corbin seat with a rip. PM brakes. 4 into 1. Did I mention it is free? Help me reclaim some garage space and make this wonderful bike appreciated again. I don’t want to put it on FB here, and I can’t work on it, thought someone here would appreciate it more. Can reach me at accugroove@gmail.

Wait....I thought you said you were "tired of turning wrenches" and were likely selling your old bikes??
Well.......I have a friend here in Lexington that has a small motorcycle museum. (If 300+ bikes is small!)
Google "Smyles Vintage Motorcycle Museum Lexington KY" and you may see some older videos of it! (Currently he has 8 CBX's!) He doesn't have many old Suzuki's and that just can't be!
I was planning on "loaning" it to his museum after I get it restored. He has a few guys that work for him and they will maintain a persons "loaner" bike if you request it. That way more people would be able to enjoy it and it will stay in operating condition, all without me having to maintain it!
I'm actually also thinking about loaning him the '79 GS850 that I just finished if it doesn't sell this spring.
I get it...free bikes are hard to pass up!![]()
