A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

My '82 1100E.

Tony.

The Black 550e it's the stock cowl. I cut back the frame and moved it foward @ 8". Sectioned the seat pan, then cut down the seat and recovered. The red 550E I just used a 550L fender. I also cut back the frame and I'm going to make a small flat seat pan. Just simple s^*T.

I was going stir-crazy today, so I washed my bike one-handed (broken and smashed finger). Some fresh pics of the 1150E:

Steve and Hector, could I get a list of mods on those bikes? Definitely some sweet rides.

Hi! First of all I re-wired the whole bike, because I removed the Factory instrument cluster and square headlight. Most electricals are connected to the check lights in the instrument cluster and you can't get around that.
I removed the right side disc brake and caliper.
I mounted a Honda headlight/speedometer combo from the mid 60's.
I think Honda still makes this type of headlight/speedo housing.
It's from a Honda Trail 90.
Mounted drag bars, cut off 1 & 7/8ths off at each end.
Replaced the stator and voltage rectifier w/ an Electrex brand.
Works awesome!
Extended swing arm.
The side covers have been moved back about 1 & 1/2inches
to balance out the extended swing arm and the position of the rear tire.
Vance and Hines 4 into 1.
The tail piece is from a mid 80's Honda Interceptor.
The seat is the original Suzuki, but I cut it short and narrowed it at the back
to follow the lines of the tail piece, and the width of the tail piece as well.
Dunlops front and back.
No turn signals, oil pressure gauge, fuel gauge, neutral indicator light.
Just the essentials .
It's a blast riding this bike. I've gotten quite a few compliments
on the look of the bike.
At the moment I have it painted flat black primer, until I find a color that I feel will really make the bike stand out more.
I'll post a few more pic for you to check out.
I wish you all the best w/ your project!

Sweet mods, I like that most of the parts were "recycled", not just something bolted on from a catalog. What's the red dot on top of the taillight? There was some definite attention to detail making everything fit as well as fit the lines of the bike, I can see why it gets a lot of attention.

What year/model/size are the rims? I like those a lot better than the "stars" that are on my bike. And what swingarm did you use?

I have no idea what color you should paint it, because the flat black definitely fits the attitude of the bike!
