A Note From The Owner...
I had to have it. I've owned over 50 motorcycles in my life and lost count. Now retired and wanted a last bike to settle down with. I found this GS and just had to have it. I paid way to much for it and did not ask enough questions on it's condition not to mention the tires were suppose to be good but were way to old to ride on. Had it shipped from upstate NY to my house in the Chicago area.
The torque, color and comfort of this bike is outstanding. I've owned a couple of 850's, a 1k and a 1100 in the past so I know the GS models pretty well and this GS1100G is the bike for me.
I adjusted the valves, replaced two broken exhaust studs, new air/oil filter and fluids. New battery and tires. I'm good to go now and absolutely love my bike.
Things I really like about the GS1100G are: self canceling turn signals, torque, air cooled, eight valves, drive shaft, solid and reliable. I would take it anywhere.
